Dennis Boggs, uncle of Adam Grim, was a native of Middleport, Ohio and attended Middleport schools through eighth grade and graduated from Meigs High School in 1971. In high school, he excelled in both academics and athletics. He dominated in football and in his senior year he received recognition for all Ohio-Class AAA Honorable Mention, All Southeastern Ohio District, & all SEOAL Team. Dennis was gifted with a quick witted sense of humor and he always brightened the days of those around him. He is lovingly and fondly remembered by his family and friends through the fundraising activities through the Boggs-Grim Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded each spring to qualified Meigs High School graduates. To know him was to laugh. Dennis passed away in 1972.
Adam Grim was a 2000 graduate of Meigs High School and a nephew to Dennis. Known for his quick wit and creative one liners, he had the unique ability to make anyone laugh. He was a kind and caring person. As a freshman, Adam was an average high school track athlete, but with hard work and a never-quit attitude, Adam went on to break the Meigs High School discus record his senior year. Adam continued his love of track with the University of Rio Grande. His friends and family considered him to be smart, trustworthy and above all, witty. Adam was a one of a kind individual who brought joy to those who knew him. He is lovingly and fondly remembered by his family and friends through the fundraising activities through the Boggs-Grim Scholarship. This scholarship is awarded each spring to qualified Meigs High School graduates. To know him was to laugh. Adam passed away in 2007.
